Food and drinks
There are no food and drinks for sale at the museum, but we gladly recommend local places. Food brought from home can be enjoyed in the museum garden, depending on the weather. Schools, institutions and associations can inquire about the possibility of using our art school facilities.
Baby changing facilities
There is a baby changing table in the toilets in the basement.
The museum was build in 1924, and has gradually been enlarged. There are steps at the main entrance, but since October 2004 we have a direct access through the white gate on the back of the house (see picture below). In the western part of the house there are several steps leading up to our changing exhibitions spaces. However thanks to a recent large donation the museum should be accessable to all in 2019 when we hope to have completed our renovations. The museum stays open throughout the renovation, though with a smaller footprint.
In our Sculpture Hall a project was completed enabling the blind, and those with compromised sigt, to enjoy the arts and sculptures. Casts of smaller early versions of most of the sculptures are in place, along with a special floor developed to guide the blind around.
The toilet conditions at the museum does not currently offer a handicap toiler, this too will be rectified in the coming renovation.
Guests can be dropped off at Øster Allé, the back of the museum.
